Best options to stay in Italy

Personally unless you've been to italy 1000's of timesm you can't go without visiting Venice, Florence or Rome. There are plenty of accommodation to choose from and from my experience, apartments now are probably the best value. You can stay in some great places at the fraction of the cost to stay in a hotel. The space is larger and you're given the independence you don't get at hotels. I've used these guys before and was really impressed. Florence apartments Venice apartments Rome apartments You can spend from 90 euros a night upwards but it seems to me that the average for 2 people is around 130 euros a night.
